What is Barco ClickShare?
ClickShare is Barco's wireless presentation and conferencing solution for meeting rooms. It enables wireless content sharing to room displays and supports hybrid meetings through the CX series. The system consists of a Base Unit connected to your display and optional Buttons or app for sharing. When not being used for meetings, ClickShare can display digital signage content through certified partners like Seenspire.
Will digital signage affect my meeting capabilities?
No. ClickShare prioritizes meeting and conferencing functions. If digital signage uses too much memory, it automatically restarts while keeping meeting capabilities intact. Your presentations and conferences remain unaffected.
Which ClickShare models support Seenspire content?
Seenspire works with all current ClickShare models:
- C-5, C-10, CX-20, CX-30: Best for static content with minimal transitions
- CX-50 and CX-50 Gen2: Supports more dynamic content and full-range transitions
For optimal performance on C-5 through CX-30 models, keep content simple and limit the amount of feeds within a stream. The CX-50 series handles richer content well, though testing is recommended before full deployment.
What happens if my content loses connection?
If the webpage is not found, the system attempts to reload every minute. For network connectivity issues, it tries every 5 seconds. During connection issues, your ClickShare displays the standard wallpaper until content resumes.
